OVERVIEW:
 

We are seeking a versatile Operations Officer with a comprehensive skillset in legal, administrative, and financial areas to oversee and optimise our organisation's operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can navigate complex legal and financial landscapes while ensuring smooth administrative processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

​

1. Develop and implement efficient operational procedures to streamline workflow and enhance productivity.

2. Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure all operational activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.

3. Manage administrative functions such as office management, facilities, and vendor relationships to support daily operations.

4. Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management, to optimize resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.

5. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and operational inefficiencies.

6. Provide guidance and training to staff members on legal, administrative, and financial procedures and best practices.

7. Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to mitigate risks and protect the organization's interests.

8. Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to proactively address compliance requirements and operational challenges.

9. Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for process improvement and strategic decision-making.

10. Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and projects to drive operational excellence and achieve organizational goals.

REQUIREMENTS:
 

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) added advantage.

2. Proven experience in operations management, legal compliance, and financial analysis, preferably in a corporate setting.

3. Strong understanding of legal principles, regulatory frameworks, and financial management practices.

4. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

7. Proficiency in legal research, contract review, and financial analysis.

8. Experience with administrative tasks such as office management, procurement, and facilities coordination.

9. Knowledge of relevant software and tools for financial analysis and operational management.

10. Certification in compliance, financial management, or project management is a plus.
